Keep it Light.

Writer's picture: Steven NguyenSteven Nguyen

Light but focused. Light but aware. Light doesn't mean lazy. Light in the physical, keep it playful.

Work on the basics. Connect the strikes, having continuity. Have fun, be imaginative. Visualize! Putting a lot of emphasis mind work. Making the case for the importance of mind training. Some could even argue it's more important than the physical training. (Both are important.) Light in the physical and sharp in the mind. Not forcing anything, letting the strikes come. Connection with upon body and lower. How is your balance? Train in such a way that you can train tomorrow if you decide to do so. And the next day, and the next day. Onward!
